Be A Gowanda Idol
Everyone is urged to start practicing for this competition to be held on Saturday, May 20 during the Pioneer Days festivities. Here’s how it works: Participants must be 21 and under, have their own music CDs, and have two songs (no burned CDs). The entry fee is $10 and everyone must pre-register. Contestants will sing in front of a panel of judges and the audience, be judged on the song, voice quality, stage appearance, crowd reaction (make sure family and fans are there!), then, if successful, move on to the next round. The top five from that round will be the winners and receive a cash prize. To pre-register, please call Laura Valone at 257-9213.
