Christy R. Hilliker and Kevin M. Parks, both of Irving were united in marriage on May 29, 2004 at the United Methodist Church of Gowanda.

     The bride is the daughter of Charles and Cheryl Hilliker of Irving. The groom is the son of James and Patricia Parks of Versailles.

     The bride was escorted to the altar by her father. Serving as maid of honor was Stacey Hilliker, sister of the bride Bridesmaids were Tammy Parks, Tina Parks, Debbie Reimer and Crystal O’Brien.

     Hannah Grimm and Dakota Parks, nieces of the groom served as flower girls.      Tim Gillis served as the groom’s best man. Groomsmen were Shawn Parks, Tim Parks, Casey Pelz and Jason Gernatt.

     Jarrett Parks, nephew of the groom, was ringbearer.

     Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the American Legion of Gowanda.

     The bride graduated from Gowanda Central School and is currently employed at Gowanda Electronics.

     The groom is also a graduate of Gowanda Central School. He is employed with Duzen Construction of Angola.

     After a honeymoon to Niagara Falls, Canada, the couple resides at their home in Irving.
