Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Hoffman of Salamanca announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah J. Hoffman, to Blaine M. Tallchief, son of Mr. and Mrs. Elliott Tallchief of Irving.

     The bride-to-be is a 1997 graduate of Salamanca Central and attended Erie Community College in Buffalo, graduating in 2002 and earning an associate’s degree in dental hygiene. She is presently employed by Seneca Nation of Indians in the Dental Department.

     Her fiance is a 1996 graduate of Silver Creek Central. He is presently employed by Seneca Nation of Indians in the Language/Culture Department.

     The wedding is planned for june 2004.
