Linda Danahy of Gowanda announces the engagement of her daughter, Karlin Danahy, to Kevin Matwijow, son of Greg and Chris Matwijow of Apopka, Florida.

     The bride-to-be is a 1991 graduate of Gowanda High School and attended SUNY Oswego, graduating in 1995, earning degrees in anthropology/sociology. She is presently employed by Gowanda Central Schools.

     Her fiance is a 1990 graduate of Gowanda High School and attended Trident Technical College in Charleston, SC. He is presently employed by Niagara Frontier Custom Fabrication in Blasdell.

     The wedding is planned for July 2005.
