Sixty-five years - Leslie and Gladys Wienk, of Cattaraugus, celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary recently. They were married in St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Gowanda by the Rev. Ross Morrell on Oct. 29, 1938. Mr. Wienk is the son of the late Carl and Emma Wienk of Cattaraugus; Mrs. Wienk is the daughter of the late Latham and Effie Heron of Gowanda. In honor of the occasion, a family dinner was held at Tips Up Restaurant in Ellicottville. The couple has four children: Dennis (Marilyn) Wienk of Rochester, Roberta (Richard) Mancuso of Fredonia, Jerith (Bonnie) Wienk of Cattaraugus, and the late Thomas Wienk. They also have six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
