Golden celebration - John and Inez Edler recently celebrated their 50th anniversary with a dinner party at the Gowanda Moose Lodge. It was followed by an evening of '50s and '60s music. The celebration was hosted by their children, John and Susan Edler and Bill and Deborah (Edler) Fedor. They also have five grandchildren. Friends gathered from Buffalo, Rochester, Nassau, Cassadaga and Bradford, PA for the occasion. The three-tiered cake was adorned with their original wedding cake ornament. The couple were married Aug. 22, 1953 at the Forestville Methodist Church with the Rev. David Mack officiating.
