Couple celebrate summer nuptial

     Anita Holland and José Morales Jr. were united in marriage on Saturday, July 12, 2003 at the Fredonia First United Methodist Church. The Reverend Jerry Ward officiated.

     The bride is the daughter of Bernard and Patricia Holland of South Dayton. The groom is the son of José Morales Sr. of Fredonia and the late Bonnie Morales, and stepson of Mary Morales.

     The bride, escorted to the altar by her father, wore an A-line ivory gown with rum pink satin edging and a detachable cathedral-length train. She carried a bouquet of ivory and pink roses.

     Serving as honor attendants were Tammy Hildebrand, sister of the bride and Maria Steckman, sister of the groom, both of Dunkirk. Bridesmaids were Michelle DeLeon of Dunkirk and Patricia Bull of Fredonia, both friends of the bride, and Michelle Leverentz of South Dayton, cousin of the bride.

     Both Raymond Steckman of Dunkirk, brother-in-law of the groom, and Tom Delcamp of Mayville, friend of the groom, served as best men for Mr. Morales. Gerry Morales of Brocton, the groom's brother, David Bull of Fredonia, friend of the groom, and Raymond Hildebrand, brother-in-law of the couple, were ushers.

     Emmalee Morales, niece of the groom, served as flower girl and Trenton Leverentz, cousin of the bride, was ring bearer.

     A reception was held at the Ramada Inn in Dunkirk.

     After a honeymoon trip to Walt Disney World in Orlando, the couple resides in Brant.
