     Army National Guard PV2 Jessica L. Gilray has graduated from nine weeks of basic training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, SC. From there, Gilray went to Fort Lee, Virginia, where she graduated from eight weeks of AIT (Advanced Individual Training) for cooking.

     She has returned home and is stationed with the National Guard in her area.

     Gilray is the daughter of Robert Gilray of Dayton and Dolores Banlin of Cherry Creek. She is a 2003 graduate of Pine Valley Central High School in South Dayton.
