     MSgt. Clay W. Lincoln retired from the Air Force on June 27 after 22 years of service. His retirement ceremony was held at Holloman Air Force Base, New Mexico. Originally from Cherry Creek, Lincoln attended Pine Valley Central School. He lettered in football, baseball, volleyball and basketball. He graduated from the Community College of the Air Force with an associate's degree.

     MSgt. Lincoln spent time as an Armament Systems Technician with experience on F-15, A10 and F117A aircraft. Upon retirement he was superintendent, Product Improvement Management Section, handpicked for that position by the Logistics Group Commander.

     Lincoln is married to the former Jamie Hirschy of Alamagordo, New Mexico. They have three children: Amanda (17), Jacob (14) and Cheyenne (7). He is the son of Ward and Wilma Lincoln of Cherry Creek. Lincoln has accepted the position of senior systems engineer with Lockhead-Martin Corp. in California.
