The Boeckel Sanitarium, Bowen's Quality Food Market, Bowen's American Hardware Store - In 1952, Bob Bowen holds a grand opening celebration in honor of the recent remodeling of the 70 Buffalo Street property. The supermarket undergoes another expansion and remodeling project in 1956. The establishment be comes a hardware store in 1974 and serves customers until it closes in the late 1980s.
