A village on the grow - Last week, we had a glimpse of the village as it looked in the later 1800's. Here, we visit Gowanda in an aerial shot from the 1940's. Cars are parked on an angle on West Main Street, the old marquee graces the Hollywood, the iron bridge crosses the Cattaraugus and buisness is booming in the "Beautiful Valley Between the Hills".
