A village on the grow - This panoramic shot of Gowanda, again taken from the popular Cemetery Hill Road vantage point, shows growth, a bit of a contrast from the pre-1878 photo in the April 29 edition. The Grand Central Hotel now commands the scene as it rises majestically from its location on the (corner of East Main an Mill streets. Main thoroughfares also appear a bit wider.
