Summer Recreation, 1965 - Gowanda’s summer recreation program held an awards ceremony at the end of the season in August 1965. Trophies were given for such activities as swimming, diving, horseshoe tossing, and more. Winners from left are, kneeling: Sue Farley (Little Miss Playground) and Mary Jo Thrasher (Miss Playground).
