I recently received a copy of the above issue from my cousin Larry Bigler who I believe subscribes to your paper. He sent this to me knowing my interest in the Romer Ax factory. My great grandmother was Martha Nicoline Romer and my great grandfather Carl Frantzen along with his brother John (Hans) came to America and my grandfather, a smith, was a foreman in the Romer factory. He was a cousin of the Romers who owned the factory. He contracted lung disease, called consumption then, but I believe silicosis, from working in the factory and his last days were spent in the sanitarium in Perrysville (if I have the name right, might be Perrysburg but I am sure you know where I mean as the building is still in existence.

At any rate, my paternal forbears came from Roenne, Bornholm, Denmark and I was very interested in the letter you printed from Bjorn Bjornsen. It sounds like Mr. Bjornsen may possibly be related to me and I would like to get in contact with him and would appreciate your help to this end. I have tried to find his address and phone number by using an international phone number search, but to no avail. I believe this is because the "o" in his name is a different character in the Danish alphabet as the name Romer has given me the same problem. In Danish the "o" has a slash through it and so the failure on a name search with the English alphabet.

I would appreciate it if you could let me know the address of Mr. Bjornsen as I would like to contact him and see what the familial relationship may be. Your help would be very valuable. In addition, If you could download the picture and text forwarded by him and printed in your paper, I would appreciate it.

Thanks for whatever help you may be able to provide.
