Gowanda High School Football Team - According to notes on the back of this photo, "Out of nine games, Gowanda High School was scored upon twice, lost one game, won five games and played three tie games. The average weight of the team was 131 pounds. Although they were outweighed in each game, their '06 season was one to be proud of, and they shall always be spoken of as the best team that ever defended the colors of Gowanda High School." Gridiron greats in the first row, from left, are: Krebs, Ryder and Farley. In the middle row are: Ball, Armes, Gayton, Chaffee and Staub. In back row are: Coach H, J.
