Sipple's - Located on East Main Street, the Sipple store offers tobacco products, candy, magazines, and newspapers as the smell of fresh-roasted peanuts fills the air. A comment from about 1896 reads,"Mr. Sipple, east side tobacconist, has Chinese lilies in bloom in his windows." A letter recently received from an Oregon resident reads, "I last enjoyed Sipple's ... in 1944." Others enjoy Sipple'suntil iy closes in the early 1970's.
