C.J. Straub - The horseshoeing, blacksmith and wagon work business of C.J. Straub is situated on Water Street along the Cattaraugus Creek. Only one reference to a blacksmith shop is noted in the Munger scrapbook. A sentence from 1900 reads, "A blacksmith shop is being built adjoining the Riverside hotel on Lower Water Street."
