Theo Harriet (Austin) Stearns, 84, of Sardinia, formerly of South Dayton, died Aug. 2, 2008.
     Mrs. Stearns was an inspector for Pant-Ease of Arcade.
     She was a member of Sardinia United Methodist Church, Arcade-Pioneer Senior Citizens, The Red Hatters Express in Chaffee and a Golden member of the Hillside Club of Villenova.
     She was the wife of the late Wayne William Stearns; daughter of the late Harry and Ruth Allene (Dayton) Austin; mother of Dean Stearns of Gowanda, Keith (Anita) Stearns of Chaffee, Constance (Danny) Heineman of Sardinia, Claudia (John) Kile of Clarence Center, Sandra Burton of Sandusky, Wade (Sue) Stearns of Springville, Brenda (Dick) Doster of Cheektowaga and the late Bruce Wayne Stearns; sister of Evelyn Mosher of Hamburg and the late Zoe Austin Mosher; also survived by 23 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
     Memorial contributions may be made to Chaffee-Sardinia Fire Department.
