Lena E. Pulvino, 97, of Amherst, formerly of Gowanda died Aug. 3, 2008. Mrs. Pulvino was employed at the Gowanda and Buffalo Psychiatric Center and at Satlers and the Boulevard Mall.
     She was a member of St. Joseph’s RC Church and the Riviera Girls Bowling Team.
     She was the wife of the late Christy R. Pulvino; daughter of the late Joseph and Sara (Barone) D’Amico; mother of Charles (Carol Fox) Pulvino of Sarasota, Fla., Carolyn Durand of Pembroke Pines, Fla. and Sally (Stan) Elder of Tonawanda; sister of Louis (Marion) D’Amico, Eleanor Alessi, Mike (Christine) D’Amico, Terry Galante, the late Joe D’Amico Jr., Marie Gimbrone and Dorothy D’Amico; also survived by six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
     Arrangements were by Mentley Funeral Home, Gowanda.
