Richard W. Lafferty, 73, of Collins, died Feb. 7, 2006 at Buffalo General Hospital.
     Mr. Lafferty was a retiree of W.N.Y. DDSO in West Seneca.
     He was the husband of Eleanor Lafferty; son of Alyce (Alva) Perrington and the late Glenn Lafferty; father of Kathy, John and Linda, stepfather of six children; and brother of Joseph (Martha) Lafferty, Patricia Dixon, Jerome (Linda) Peterson, Debra Peterson, and the late Charlyne Olden and Marie Elliott; also survived by 21 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
     Memorials may be made to the Collins Fire Department or to the Perrysburg Fire Department.
     Arrangements were by the Mentley Funeral Home, Inc., Gowanda.
