Gladys D. (Westfall) Vergith, 88, of Randolph, formerly of Cattaraugus, died Feb. 17, 2006 at WCA Hospital in Jamestown.
     Mrs. Vergith was a packer for Setter Stix in Cattaraugus for 29 years. She was a member of the Otto Immanuel Lutheran Church. She designed and made many quilts for most all of her nieces and nephews and down through the great-great-nieces and nephews.
     She was the wife of the late Lawrence C. Vergith; daughter of the late Allen and Fredreka (Schultz) Westfall; and sister of Lucy Paschen of Little Valley and the late Clarence, Lewis, Elmer, Ervin and Bernard Westfall, Dena Hintz, Edna Schwartz, Lagarda Westfall, Adeline Mochring, Florence Stockwell, Alice Lemk and Dorothy Scott; also survived by many nieces, nephews, great- and great-great nieces and nephews; and her caregivers Robert and Laura Causebrook of Lakewood.
