Florence A. (Waller) Ratzel, 93, of Gowanda, died Feb. 21, 2006 at Lake Shore Hospital in Irving.
     Mrs. Ratzel was a cafeteria worker for Gowanda Central School for nine years. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Perrysburg. She loved to crochet and was a great crafter.
     She was the wife of the late Walter H. Ratzel; daughter of the late Clarence and Elsie (Scofield) Waller; mother of Elsie (late William) Ellis of Cattaraugus, Carol (David) Trombley of South Dayton, and the late Gerald Preischel; and sister of the late Gerald, George, Ivah and Edna Waller, Emma Preischel and Alice Sheldon; also survived by six grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
     Arrangements were by Hills Funeral Chapel.
