Richard H. Schifferli, 75, of Mesa, AZ, formerly of Sheridan, died Jan. 21, 2006.
     Mr. Schifferli grew up in the Sheridan/Silver Creek area. He served in the U.S. Army from 1952-1954, and then worked for Great Lakes Color Printing in Dunkirk for 22 years. After moving to Arizona in 1978, he worked for Gilbert Public Schools as building manager until his retirement in 1992. Mr. Schifferli and his wife loved to travel and camp in their motorhome.
     He was the husband of the late Nancy (Diefenbach) Schifferli; son of the late H. Charles Schifferli and Lucile (Houck) Schifferli; father of Sharon Zogheib and Eric Schifferli, both of the Mesa, AZ area, and the late Steven Schifferli; also survived by three grandchildren and one great-grandson.
     A memorial gathering of family and friends will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 2 at Mariposa Gardens Funeral Home, 400 S. Power Rd., Mesa, AZ 85206.
