Juva D. (Crowell) Dawley, 91, formerly of Cherry Creek, died Oct. 7, 2005 at the Chautauqua County Home in Dunkirk. Mrs. Dawley was a retired postal worker for U.S. Postal Service, where she worked for 18 years. She also worked at Skiff’s Department Store for many years. Mrs. Dawley enjoyed crafting and cooking.
     She was the wife of Elwood “Bud” Dawley; daughter of the late Bert and Abbie Jeanette ( Aldrich) Crowell; mother of DeWayne (Barbara) Dawley of Getzville, David Ray (Janet) Dawley of Sherman, Constance A. (Samuel) Arcadipane of Westfield, and Deborah L. (Edward) Grzegorzewski of Cherry Creek; and sister of the late Roy Crowell, Blanche Fullington, Dorris Lawton, Ruth Kuehn, Myrtle White, Leah Sweet, Iva Crowell and Mildred Moss; also survived by 20 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
     Memorials may be made to Cherry Creek Ambulance Fund, Cherry Creek, NY.
