Robert J. Sobkowski, 76, of Tamarac, FL, formerly of Silver Creek, died unexpectedly May 23, 2005.
     Mr. Sobkowski served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. Prior to his retirement, he owned a bakery in Tamarac. He enjoyed fishing and gardening.
     He was the husband of Cettie (Piazza) Sobkowski; son of the late John and Eugenia (Burkiewicz) Sobkowski; father of Robert, Salvatore, John and Steven; and brother of Alice S. Rich of Dunkirk and Mary J. Stuczynski of Naples, FL; also survived by three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
     Arrangements were by Kraeer-Mason Funeral Home in Tamarac.
