Anthony R. Mardino
January 30, 1924 - March 12, 2005

     Anthony R. Mardino, 81, of Woodlawn, died March 12, 2005 in Mercy Hospital after a brief illness.
     Mr. Mardino served in the Army as a private first class during World War II. He saw action in the Pacific and earned medals, including a Bronze Star.
     He worked as a crane operator at Bethlehem Steel from 1951 to 1986. Mr. Mardino was a member of American Legion Post 880 in Eden and the East Side Sportsmen’s Club.
     He was the husband of Lila (Place) Mardino; father of Anthony of Farnham, Richard of Blasdell, Sharon Cola-franceschi of Lackawanna, Lorraine Wagner of Eden and Marilyn Neitzel of Woodlawn; and brother of Peter of Buffalo, Robert of South Dayton, Sam and Richard, both of Eden, and Angie Sherman, Neil, Ralph, Alphonso and James, all of North Collins; also survived by 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
