Lee B. Prince, 100, of Conewango Valley, died Feb. 24, 2005.
A lifelong area resident, Mr. Prince attended Little Valley schools. He was employed as a telephone lineman for six years, and later by the Leon Milk Plant and Franklin Milk Plant for 28 years, retiring in 1967. He also worked as an electrician until 1989. Mr. Prince was the drummer with The County Gentlemen and Country Ramblers for many years, playing at dances in the area. He enjoyed gardening, mowing his lawn and fishing.
He was the husband of the late Ila Estella (Olmstead) Prince; son of the late Martin B. and Millie A. (English) Prince; father of Merle O. Prince of Randolph, Merton L. Prince of Dayton, Shirley M. Haynes (his caregiver) of Conewango Valley and Louise M. Pitts of Gerry; brother of the late Orvis M. Prince; and stepson of the late Eunice Louise Prince; also survived by 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Arrangements were by the Falconer Funeral Home, Falconer.
