Darryl M. Gage
November 13, 1955 - November 5, 2004

     Darryl M. Gage, 48, of Forestviile, died unexpectedly Nov. 5, 2004 in Brooks Memorial Hospital.
     Mr. Gage was a graduate of Silver Creek Central School Class of 1973. He was also a graduate of the National School of Meat Cutting, Toledo, OH. He had worked as a meat cutter at Tops Market in Derby and the Lakeside Market in Angola. Mr. Gage had also worked as a correctional officer at the Chautauqua County Jail in Mayville. A United States Air Force veteran, he had served as a radio communications intercept analyst.
     Mr. Gage was a skilled artist with specialities in photography, painting and drawing. He loved fishing in local creeks for trout and walleye and was known as “The Fisherman of Cattaraugus Creek.”
     He was the husband of Vicki (Taylor) Gage of Forestville; son of Florence (Kujawa) Gage of Forestville and the late Milton V. Gage; father of Elba, Marybeth and Morayma; and brother of Denise Gage of Dunkirk; also survived by three grandchildren, two nieces and three nephews.
     Memorials may be made to the Sheridan Fire Department, Center Road. Sheridan, NY 14135.
     Arrangements were by the Riles & Woolley Funeral Home, Forestville.
