Veronica A. Fricano
February 4, 1916 - October 12, 2004

     Veronica A. “Ronnie” (Militello) Fricano, 88, of Orlando, FL, formerly of Silver Creek, died Oct. 12, 2004 at Buffalo Mercy Hospital.
     Mrs. F.ricano had been employed at the former Forbes and Wagner Company in Silver Creek for many years. She was a member of St. Joseph’s R.C. Church in Orlando, FL, a former member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Silver Creek where she was active in the Rosary-Altar Society, and former member of other community organizations including Women of the Moose.
     An avid card player, she had belonged to several card clubs through the years. She also enjoyed cooking, crocheting and bowling.
     She was the wife of the late Marion Fricano; daughter of the late Gaetano and Vincenza (Fadale) Militello; mother of Samuel (Margaret) Fricano of Jacksonville, FL, Thomas (Susan) Fricano of Eatonton, GA, and Venetia (Donald) Lodico of Derby; sister of Lucy Braun of Forestville, Carolyn Dougherty of Silver Creek, Louise Crolle of Forestville, and the late Cosmo and Joseph Militello, Patrina Newton, Theresa Tokasa, Jean Randazzo and Helen Militello; grandmother of the late John Fricano; also survived by nine grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
     Memorials may be made to St. Columbans on the Lake, 2546 Lake Road, Silver Creek, NY 14136.
     Arrangement were by the Hole-Parker Funeral Chapel, Silver Creek.
