Elsie M. VanRensselaer-Tasker, 75, of Scranton, PA, formerly of Perrysburg, died Oct. 7, 2004 in the Community Medical Center in Scranton.
     Mrs. VanRensselaer-Tasker was a graduate of Jamestown High School. She retired in 1990 after 22 years as a self-employed psychiatric therapist in Hamburg. She was a member of the Heritage Baptist Church in Clark Summit, PA, and enjoyed sewing and quilt making.
     She was the wife of the late Robert A. Tasker; daughter of the late Nelson and Neola (Tompkins) VanRensselaer; mother of James Tasker of Clark Summit, PA, Timothy Tasker of Elkhart, IN, Lois Mixon of South Africa, Barbara Brown of Cattaraugus and Ruth Tasker of North Boston; and sister of the late Mary Louise Davis; also survived by 19 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
     Arrangements were by the VanRensselaer & Son Funeral Home, Randolph.
