Mr. Earle served in the U.S. Army. He operated dairy farms on Snyder Hill, Cattaraugus for most of his life. After what he considered retirement, he moved to Ellicottville where he did general maintenance work and odd jobs for the past 15 years.
He was the husband of Lelah J. (Blakeslee) Earle; son of Bertha (Palmer) Earle of Portland and the late Ralph Earle; father of Vaughn R. Earle of Killbuck, William R. Earle of Falconer, Rodney L. Earle of East Otto, Richard R. Earle of Gerry and Alicia J. Earle-Johnson of Hinsdale; and brother of Joyce Dawley of Dunkirk, Rosemary Howe of Cherry Creek, Peggy Beirfeldt of Salamanca and Sandra Van-Rensselaer of Forestville; also survived by 16 grandchildren.
Arrangements were by the Hills Funeral Chapel, Cattaraugus.
