Mrs. Gabel was a homemaker. Her working career spanned close to 40 years, working for St. Joseph’s cafeteria in Gowanda for 16 years, and then working for the former Waterman’s Restaurant for 20 years until her retirement. She was a member of St. Joseph’s R.C. Church.
She was the wife of the late Jacob D. Gabel; daughter of the late Louis E. and Edith J. (Herrington) Cummings; mother of Linda (Robert) Tiller of Gowanda; and sister of Eleanor (Ronald Sr.) Clabeaux of Gowanda and the late Richard and Robert Cummings; also survived by two grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Gowanda Ambulance or Hospice of Buffalo.
