Audrey F. (Larson) Duntley, 93, of South Dayton, died Aug. 14, 2004 at Lake Shore Hospital in Irving. Mrs. Duntley graduated from Russell High School and Edinboro Normal School in 1930. She taught intermediate grades in Russell, Corydon and Lander, PA. She last taught in Randolph, retiring in 1976. Mrs. Duntley was active in the Methodist churches of Corydon, PA, and East Randolph. She was also an active member of the South Dayton United Methodist Church. She had served as organist, Sunday School teacher, administrative board secretary, and was an officer of the women’s group. Mrs. Duntley was also a former member of women’s literary clubs in Randolph and South Dayton and of various civic groups. She was the wife of the late Paul R. Duntley; daughter of the late Henry and Mabel (Bradley) Larson; mother of Kevin R. (Luise) Duntley of South Dayton, and Dr. Diane L. Duntley of Indiana, PA; and sister of the late LeRoy D. Larson and Ida Grace Larson; also survived by three grandsons and two great-granddaughters. Memorials may be made to the South Dayton United Methodist Church or South Dayton Volunteer Fire Department. Arrangements were by the Hills Funeral Chapel, South Dayton. |
