Mrs. Emerson was a homemaker.
She was the daughter of the late Charles and Thelma (Kilgore) Wampler; mother of Charles Wampler of Buffalo, Brian Emerson, Sonya (Richard) Emery, Tierra (Christopher) Moppert, Taleen (Richard) Storm and Lori (Kenneth) Vogtli, all of Gowanda, Ronee Emerson of Perrysburg, and the late Sherry L. Emerson; and sister of John Wampler of Tonawanda, Carl Wampler of Lancaster, James Wampler of Buffalo, Eddie Wampler of Georgia, and the late Richard, Billy and Wade Wampler; also survived by 14 grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, and several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
