Mrs. Tallchief belonged to Local No. 17 Operating Engineer Union, was the first woman to receive her Cable Crane Operating License and also worked for the Child and Family Services Department of the Seneca Nation.
She was the daughter of Grace Tallchief; mother of Gerald (Sharri) Tallchief, Shaun Humphrey and Tanya (James) Gardner; and sister of Joyce Gates and Gail Sundown; also survived by seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements were by the Wentland Funeral Home, North Collins.
