Mr. Buchholz was retired from Lake Shore School District where he worked as their child psychologist. He was a member of the VFW Post 5007 of Gowanda.
He was the husband of the late Mary E. (Walters) Buchholz; son of the late Dominik and Johanna (Bojanowski) Buchholz; father of Chris Buchholz of Massachusetts, Gretchen Buckles of Bowmansville, and John Buchholz of West Virginia; brother of the late Florence Podd; also survived by three grandchildren.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
