She was a retired Sr. Physical Therapist from Gowanda Psychiatric Center and New York State Mental Health in Celeron. She also owned and operated Cassadaga Country Club for nine years.
She was active in many community activities, including the Cassadaga Seniors Club. She enjoyed flea markets, garage sales and traveling.
She was the daughter of the late E. Dewey and Eleanor (MacCleod) Edler, mother of Daniel Hickling IX of Kennebunk, ME, Mark Odell of Brocton and Leslie Patterson of Portland; sister of William Edler of Winston-Salem, NC and Elayne Byrk of Collins; also survived by eleven grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
