Jay A. Jackson, 78, of Perrysburg, died June 14, 2004. Mr. Jackson was superintendent and project manager for W.A. Chester, Inc. of Amityville. The company installed high voltage cable via pipeline systems. One of his greatest challenges was the Niagara Falls Power Project. His specialty was water crossing which included the Ohio River in Pittsburgh, PA and Lake Champlain in Plattsburg. He was the husband of Mary (Russell) Jackson; son of the late Jay and Delia (Nunweiler) Jackson; father of Marc Jackson of Pottstown, PA and Rochelle Jackson of Penrysburg; also survived by two grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the Hospice Foundation, 225 Como Park Blvd., Cheektowaga, NY 14227. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements were by the Mentley Funeral Home, Inc., Gowanda. |
