Floyd Rogers
     Floyd “Buck” Rogers, 86, of South Dayton, died May 1, 2004 at Lake Shore Hospital in Irving.
     Mr. Rogers served in the U.S. Army during World War II, having attained the rank of Buck Sergeant. A retired carpenter, he worked for J.W. Cowper of Buffalo for 24 years.
     He was the husband of the late Gladys M. (Pagett) Rogers; son of the late Hurley J. and Bertha (Poole) Rogers; father of Floyd J. “Jack” Rogers of South Dayton, Patrick J. Rogers of Almond, Margaret A. VanWarmer of South Dayton and Teresa Rogers of Jamestown; and brother of Harriet Mackmer of Bliss and the late Gladys Degenfelder, Dorothy Taylor, Hazel Lawton, Florence Ortel, Earl, William, Harold and Wesley Rogers; also survived by eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
     Arrangements were by the Hills Funeral Chapel, South Dayton.
