David R. Moynihan, 52, of South Dayton, died April 6, 2004 at Roswell Park Institute in Buffalo. Mr. Moynihan graduated from Pine Valley Central School with the Class of 1970 and received an associate’s degree from Alfred Tech. He was employed as a New York State Corrections officer. He also had owned and operated Dave’s Auto Body in South Dayton for many years and at one time had worked for West-Herr Ford in Hamburg. An EMT for the South Dayton Fire Department, Mr. Moynihan was a member of the Collins Conservation Club, Pine Valley Rod and Gun Club, West Winds Archery of Fredonia and the NRA. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was the husband of Nancy J. (Calhoun) Moynihan; son of the late Robert and Marion (Fisher) Moynihan; father of Scott David Moynihan and Heather Kelly Moynihan, both of South Dayton; and brother of Linda Hughes of Saratoga Springs, Karen Campbell of Kentucky and Marleah Johnson of South Dayton; also survived by one grandson. Arrangements were by the Hills Funeral Chapel, South Dayton. |
