Lela E. Studley, 86, a resident of the Gowanda Nursing Home, formerly of Collins Center and Gowanda, died March 30, 2004 at the home. Mrs. Studley was employed by Campbell Furniture and afterward became a senior companion at J.N. Adam. She was a life member of the Slovenian Club and enjoyed playing cards. She was also an avid Elvis fan. She was the wife of the late Milton Studley; daughter of the late Willard and Lora (Kelley) Harris; and mother of Douglas Studley of Akron, Dorothy Humphrey of Painted Post, June Burroughs of Oxford, Mary Jo (Terry) Sample of Gowanda, and the late Betty Studley; also survived by nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the Gowanda Ambulance Service or the Gowanda Fire Department. Arrangements were by the Schindler Funeral Home, Gowanda. |
