Mr. Sheldon was a retired construction worker for Local 210 in Buffalo, where he had worked for 32 years. He was a lifetime member of the South Dayton Fire Department. He was a member of Local 210 of Buffalo from 1966 to 2001. Mr. Sheldon was also a member of the Cherry Creek VFW Post 2522 and Sons of the Legion. He loved to play horseshoes.
He was the son of Thelma E. Bean Sheldon of Cherry Creek and the late Charlie L. Sheldon; father of Timothy A. Sheldon of Fort Wainwright, AK, Daphne M. (John) Cortright of South Dayton, and Jackie Chapman of Hinsdale; and brother of Arthur Sheldon of St. Charles, MO, Albert W. Sheldon of London Derry, NH, and David C. Sheldon and Raymond L. Sheldon, both of Cherry Creek; also survived by eight grandchildren.
