Mr. Keppel retired in 1984 from Operating Engineers Union Local 17, of which he remained a member. He then became owner and operator of a truck leased to Daily Express.
He was the husband of Anna Belle (Parson) Keppel; son of the late Clarence Charles and Alice Ruth (Bell) Keppel; father of Max (Flo) Keppel of Cherry Creek, Stephen Keppel of Dallas, TX, Gary (Cathy) Keppel of Collins, and Ruth Ann (the late Robert) McLain of Las Vegas, NV; also survived by six grandchildren, one step-grandchild, and three stepgreat-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made in Kenneth’s name to Collins Fire Co. or Gowanda Ambulance Service.
Arrangements were by the Schindler Funeral Home, Gowanda.
