Louise Hamilton
     Etta Louise (Milliman) Hamilton, 83, of Gowanda, died March 6, 2004.
     A homemaker, Ms. Hamilton’s employment dates back to World War II when she manufactured parts for our military. She was a cook at the former Rock City Hotel in Little Valley. She retired from the former J.N. Adam in order to take care of her granddaughter. She was an advocate for J.N. Adam and worked as a therapy aide. She was also a foster grandmother at the Gowanda Middle School for 20 years.
     Ms. Hamilton enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, playing cards and doing needlework. She had a great love for animals and loved to travel.
     She was the daughter of the late Lewis and Ettie (Peters) Milliman; mother of Cindy Bilansky of Gowanda; and sister of the late Lula Milliman, Bertha Milspaw, Harlo, Harry, John, George and Howard Milliman; also survived by one granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.
     Memorials may be made to the Gowanda Ambulance Service.
     Arrangements were by the Schindler Funeral Home, Gowanda.
