Mr. Rice worked as a therapy aide for the Western New York DDSO. He was a member of the NRA and an animal lover. His hobbies included reading and gardening.
He was the son of Bertha E. (Dole) Rice of Dayton and the late Rosal T. Rice; and brother of Linda Schauer of Gowanda and Susanne Perkins of Little Valley also survived by several nieces and nephews.
