Jean (Milks) Farnham, 81, of Little Valley, died Feb. 18, 2004 at St. Joseph's Manor, Olean. Mrs. Farnham was a homemaker and also worked as a Cattaraugus County Court Matron for many years. She was a member of the First Congregational Church in Little Valley, where she was a trustee and treasurer for many years, and was a member of the choir. She was also a member of the Home Bureau, Little Valley Grange and the Little Valley School Board for a number of years. She was the wife of the late Marshall A. Farnham Sr.; daughter of the late Harold and Mildred (Saalfield) Milks; mother of Kenneth (Theresa) Farnham and Marshall Farnham Jr. both of Little Valley, James (Darleen) Farnham of Albion, Kevin (Marianne) Farnham of Bethlehem, PA, Carol (Rodger) Skibenes of Belfast, Anne (Thomas) Townsend of Morganton, NC, and the late Rodger Farnham; and sister of Kathryn (Duane) Reynolds of Little Valley and the late Harold Milks Jr., Raymond Milks, Eleanor Askey, Doris Fields, MaryLou Koonce and Marion Milks; also survived by 23 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to the Cattaraugus Ambulance Service or the Little Valley Ambulance Service. Arrangements were by the Mentley Funeral Home Inc., Little Valley. |
