Oscar E. Snyder
     Oscar E. "Pete" Snyder, 67, of Cherry Creek, died Feb. 14, 2004 in Hamot Medical Center in Erie, PA.
     Mr. Snyder attended Cassadaga schools and had been employed by Fredonia Express for 25 years. He retired in 1999 from Duff's Trucking in Forestville, where he had been a professional truck driver. He was a volunteer with Ellington Food Pantry.
     Mr. Snyder liked to garden, but his pride and joy was his classic Lincoln Continental. He also enjoyed listening to classic country music.
     He was the husband of Nancy (Nickerson) Snyder; son of Frank H. and Emma (Schafer) Snyder, father of Peter Snyder of Sinclairville, Terry and Tim Snyder, both of South Dayton, Jay Snyder of Alberta, Canada, Diane Faulkner, Tina Snyder, Jody Cornell and Marcy McQuiggan, all of Cherry Creek, Laura Hunt of Fredonia, and the late Christopher Allan Snyder; and brother of Edna Kibbe of Ellington, and the late Burton, Edgar and Mary Snyder, also survived by 21 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
     Memorials may be made to the Ellington Food Pantry, Ellington, NY.
     Arrangements were by the Larson-Timko Funeral Home.
