Mr. Steinbar owned and operated the Marivale Dairy Farm in East Otto for many years. He was also a two-term Town of East Otto supervisor and a 20-year Town of East Otto assessor. He was a member of the William C. Edmunds Volunteer Fire Department and its Fire Police for many years. He was an avid outdoorsman.
He was the husband of Marilyn (Miller) Steinbar; son of the late Christof and Genevieve (Fleckenstein) Steinbar; father of Lynn (Linda) Steinbar of Marion, SC, Larry (Jenine) Steinbar of East Otto, Jerry (Debra) Steinbar of Greeley, CO, Robert (Nancy) Steinbar of East Otto, Daniel (Terri) Steinbar of Otto and Brenda (Mark) Peterson of Bemus Point; and sister of Carol Silvernail of Gary; also survived by 22 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
