Mrs. North retired from the Gowanda State Hospital as an x-ray technician. She was a member of the Gowanda Lions Club, and provided support to the North Haven Therapeutic Riding and Aquatic Center in Gowanda.
She was the wife of the late Anthony L. North; daughter of the late Otto and Twila (Hicks) Larson; mother of Nancy Kwilos and Paul North, both of Gowanda; and sister of the late Lawrence and Elmer Larson; also survived by five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the North Haven Therapeutic Riding and Aquatic Center, 2914 Gowanda-Zoar Rd., Gowanda, NY 14070; or the Gowanda Lions Club.
