Mr. DiLorenzo served in the U.S. Army in the Air Offensive Europe and Western Europe as a tail gunner and a staff sergeant. He was a hot roll inspector at AL Tech Specialty Steel in Dunkirk. He enjoyed sports, especially watching baseball.
He was the husband of the late Jeanenne (Gadewoltz) DiLorenzo; son of the late Henry and Winifred (Petro) DiLorenzo; father of Nicholas DiLorenzo of Dunkirk, Kathleen Quick of Hilton, Penny Pilarski of Silver Creek, Amy DiPietro of Forestville, Toni Rae DiLorenzo of Camdon, and April Hill, Cynthia Bielat, Robin Winder, Jeanenne Gizowski, Tracy Briggs, all of Dunkirk; and brother of Rose Bradley of Dunkirk, and the late Carmen Mastrelli and Barbara DiLorenzo.
